Human Library, together with ESN KTU, is giving you a chance to experience a different kind of reading - "read" the stories of others, and learn more about yourself, and the world you live in.

Books you'll read are people from vulnerable social groups, experiencing discrimination or suffering from stereotypes in society. These Books have a lot to say about discrimination, social inequality, and can answer a lot of deep and intimate questions about the lifestyle of different social groups.

Reading itself is an honest conversation between the reader and the book. Readers can ask questions and get genuine answers. The reading session lasts 15 to 25 minutes.

"Human Library" is a way of informal education that encourages social awareness, tolerance, and inclusion. "Human Library" consists of books, librarians and readers. Be sure to visit the Human Library soon!
